How can improve vision at the golf?

I've finally gotten better at hitting golf balls correctly while at the range, but I'm having trouble following my ball. I was taught to keep my head down, but now that I'm more comfortable I've been trying to follow the ball - but can't see it 99% of the time. I've go new glasses, so distance vision isn't the problem. Even when I look at someone swing, most of the time I have no idea where their ball fell. How can improve vision at the golf?It takes time and practice. My girls tell me the same thing you just said. "Coach, you keep telling me to keep my head down, but I can't find it because I'm concentrating on keeping my head down through impact." and I just explain to them that over time they'll learn how to find the ball in the air. It takes practice in the ability to scan the sky. If your head is down, you'll most likely hit a decent shot which obviously in the air. All you have to do is start left(move eyes not entire head) then scan from left to right. Once you find out your normal pattern(whether you slice, draw, hook, or fade) you'll have an idea where to start.

If you get really good, you'll know the general area of where you hit by feeling how the ball felt off the club face ;)

Doesn't seem like anything a good large bucket at your local driving range will cure.

*Also, if you have a really great attention to detail, you can get a general idea which direction the ball started by seeing how it launched off the tee. This is a bit harder to learn than scanning the sky.How can improve vision at the golf?It takes practice. You must keep you eye on the ball from the tee forward. You should have a general idea of how high and far and which direction it's going to be going. At the least you can keep an eye down the fairway and see where it lands/bounces when it comes down. I often lose track of the ball if it's hit too far off line or extra high. Glasses shouldn't be a big problem....I wear trifocals and can keep up with the balls pretty well. How can improve vision at the golf?Following a golf ball requires excellent vision as well as good concentration. You look at the ball that a player is about to hit. Keeping your eye on that ball follow it to its landing area. Keep doing this until you become accustomed to following a ball in flight. Don't concentrate on the swing. Concentrate on the ball.
