How tall should you be to use men's golf clubs?

I'm 5'4", male and have been using women's sized golf clubs for a while. I want to get mens clubs but don't know if they will be too big and affect my game. I know a lot of kids my age and size that use full men's size clubs. The ladies flex is too flexible and i tend to hit a fade.... Also, any suggestions for relatively cheap iron sets? The main difference is the flexibility of the shafts. Womens shafts are much more flexible to accomodate a slower swing.You can take your clubs to a pro and they can fit your clubs to you.
