Why is Golf such a stupid yet exclusive game?

I mean the mental and physical talent needed to play golf is quite limited, inversely matched by the cost to play magnified by the media and purchased the consumer. So why do so many talentless people throw much needed money down a hole in order to achieve instant self-gratification at the expense of fools like us?Why is Golf such a stupid yet exclusive game?Well my young PUNK who has obviously been wasting his Daddy's money at college. The only thing that I can agree with is that yes, you are a FOOL



First why are you worried about how anyone spends their money. Second you need to actually make some money prior to discussing how its spent. As you still hang to your parents breasts what would you know about anything other than wasting your time and parents money at College. Its fairly apparent that you have never played golf but yet you choose to come to a site and criticize it.



Take a psychology course and while your wasting more of your parents money you can probably find a name for whatever psychosis that you suffer from, until then.

I find that golf is a lifelong journey of constant striving for excellence and making little improvements over a long period of time. Not, as you say, wasted money thrown away by talentless golfers in their search for instant gratification. I dont believe I have ever gotten instant gratification on the golf course, short of once seeing a know-it-all prove to the world that he could not follow his own advice on the golf course. In fact, you remind me of that guy. HEH.

I'll be on the course.Why is Golf such a stupid yet exclusive game?once you reach your 20's there are no real sports for people to play, except golf or tennis. tennis you need somebody else and you have to be somewhat good, at least as good as the person you're playing with or they won't play with you. golf you can play alone or with someone else, and you can stink and that's ok, because it doesn't affect your the other persons game. it's a little bit of exercise that the average person wouldn't get, because the average person does nothing for exercise. so we throw money away to go golfing for a little exercise, a little comradery, a few stories and a few beersWhy is Golf such a stupid yet exclusive game?
Elf. . You my not like my answer, but this will be the truth. On the surface golf does seem like you say, but when you understand golf and play golf you will agree golf takes a lot of athletic ability. Maybe not running and jumping, but hand eye coordination is a must! And the mental side of it - Far and away the most mental sport, second to none!



Plus this is a game that is about honor. No sport in the world even comes close to golf when it comes to honesty.



And if you still do not think I am on track, look at how much business is done on the golf course! If you want to get further ahead in the business world, learn to play golf! You can learn a lot about what kind of person someone is just by playing 18 holes with him/her.
