Are you ever too old to be thinking about turning pro in golf?

Is golf like other sports where if you don't start out at a young age you have a very slim chance of making it pro? Or can someone who never played golf in their youth start playing as an adult and make it pro (after years of practice of course)? Are you ever too old to be thinking about turning pro in golf?I don't believe so. If you have natural ability along with a killer work ethic and the resources (money, time, instruction, equipment, Tournament Traveling, etc), I imagine that you could make some money playing golf professionally. There are a lot minor Professional Tours out there also. I imagine that a person could make a decent living on those tours if you could win a couple a year and consistently make the top 10.

If you are over 30, I'd say that it would be difficult more so than in your 20's. If you are in your 40's, the Senior Tour might be a goal. Good Luck! Are you ever too old to be thinking about turning pro in golf?
there are many pros out there. if you mean turn pro to compete, I'd say you possibly could but would not win tournaments unless you are very talented. Are you ever too old to be thinking about turning pro in golf?NoAre you ever too old to be thinking about turning pro in golf?
Never too old. If you can learn to break 70 50% of the time, you can turn pro. Move to the back tees, and learn to putt like tiger. Are you ever too old to be thinking about turning pro in golf?If you have the time, the work ethic and the money go for it. But before you turn pro make sure you can consistently shoot in the mid to high 60's on your home course from the tips.
