What kind of attire can I wear at a golf tornament?

Am going for a golf tornament this Saturday and I have no idea what I should wear, like shoes, hats and the complete attire. This is what I suggest. Do you want to be noticed. They wear something bright such as a bright colored shirt, off- white pants, a sharp belt, and some really up to date loafers (two-tone is what I like brown or black and white) to match the belt.

Wear a mini skirt. It would be nice.
You will be doing a lot of walking and depending on where the tournament is, be ready for the elements. A nice polo shirt or a nice shirt and either shorts or capris work. No short shorts or revealing tank tops, remember that most of the time tourny's are in country clubs so keep that in mind. If this is a PGA tour event, you are not allowed in the clubhouse unless you are a member of the club where the tournament is being held or you have special access badges. Wear a hat if it is going to be sunny and bring sunglasses so you can see the ball in the air. Be quiet when the marshalls put their hands up and do not move around when a golfer is about to hit. Most people wear khaki shorts, polo golf shirt, nice visor and golf shoes or tennis shoes. Maybe go out and buy a new outfit... retail therapy is the best thing in the world!!!

DO NOT wear jeans or cutoffs, t-shirts, hoodies etc.

if you are watching/walking then I would suggest really comfy tennis shoes and if you are playing i would still suggest them unless if you have golf shoes.



a cute hat that goes with your outfit would work too... it depends on if you want a hat or visor... but matching is adorable!! :)



Depends on what kind of event this is...

If it is a PGA Tour event... you aren't alloweed in the club house unless you are escorted by a PGA Tour player or you have a membership or a special pass. But, going into the club house for a PGA Tour event isn't all that great... we have been escorted in by players and it isn't that fabulous... they have food and drinks and stuff. We went in once to just hang out and then the other time because I was fell down and cut my leg really bad... so we had to go in and get some stuff for it. But, they usually have first-aid stations set up along the tournament. They also have like stations with water etc.
