Whats the best Rangefinder or GPS for golf?

I am thinking about getting a range finder for golf . . .

Do you have to get a membership to skycaddie in order to use it for golf courses?



Also, would you consider a laser rangefinder or a Golf GPS better all around?

I recommend the Garmin Approach G5. It has thousands of golf courses in it's data base.

It provides an original GPS product which is best to buy. Also, these GPS products are very cheap than other brands,
