How much does a Golf Instructor earn?

I am interested in becoming a Golf Instructor, but i am not sure how much they earn on average in a year. Its not like if they don't make a lot i wont become one, but i am curious.How much does a Golf Instructor earn?Most golf instructors work as independent contractors. They are usually able to set their own hourly rates. The golf courses that they contract with get a share of that hourly rate. The better you can teach, the more you can command for your lessons. Also, you can make more if you're PGA-certified.
