I want to buy a golf ball that will give me a lot of backspin. Price is not an problem I will pay a lot. What is a good golf ball for a lot of spin?Nike One Platinum or Pro V1.
The Titleist Pro V1 is the most popular ball.
Do bear in mind that just buying the softest golf ball with not mean you will spin the ball back.
It will only help with getting spin and feel around the greenWhat is a good golf ball for a lot of spin?
Nike One Platinum is the highest spinning ball out of all retail balls. After that try the Pro V1.
The Callaway Tour ix is one of the lower spinning high end golf balls, good for a "high spin" player. What is a good golf ball for a lot of spin?ProV1, stay away from the ProV1x as it does not have nearly the spin of the ProV1
The best golf ball for spin is a nike Pro B but if you want a golf ball with good spin and good control ite a titleist 320 freak... that is what I use and I like it.What is a good golf ball for a lot of spin?Nike One Platinum has the highest spin rate. But don't forget that means more sidespin as well as backspin, so draws turn into hooks and fades turn into slices. What is a good golf ball for a lot of spin?
I personally like the Callaway Tour ball. I prefer it for spin and feel over Nike and Titliest. Just switched to them from ProV1 last week. Haven't lost distance and have better feel around greens
Everyone is going to say either the Pro V1 X or the Nike One Platinum. I would disagree a bit. The Bridgestone B330S gets a ton of spin. Its very under rated because most amateurs don't use it. Try it and your won't regret itWhat is a good golf ball for a lot of spin?
Keith, the best spinning ball money can buy is the Titliest ProV1.
Unfortunately, this spinning includes side spin i.e. hooks and slices.
No ball will guarantee backspin as much as a crisp downward compression of the ball with a ball-turf contact.
If you are looking for spin the Titleest ProV 1 is a good choice. The ProV 1x is actually for less spin and a faster swing speed. It's durability is also among the top choices.
The Calloway and Nike seemed to wear too fast for me. They just didn't hold up. It seemed like one good shot would leave a nasty groove mark.
The new Bridgestone Tour B330-S have been pretty good as well. I would rank them in the same catagory as the Titleist. I like that their duribility makes them last a little longer as well. The ball feels great off the tee and around the green.
That's my two cents.....
Spin comes from proper shot execution. It is not built into the ball except through cover hardness. If you don't hit ball -turf there will be no spin.
