Any suggestions please for reasonably priced but pleasant golf courses in New Zealand?

We will be purchasing the "Golfers Handbook" which gives information and discounts at golf courses. Is this a good idea?Any suggestions please for reasonably priced but pleasant golf courses in New Zealand?I think that would be a great purchase. As you can see by the non-responses, most of us don't know.
