Can a golf major championship end in a rainout?

I was just trying to determine whether a golf major has ever been shortened due to rain and what the official rule is on the subject. Please help!Can a golf major championship end in a rainout?Man I have looked all over and haven't come across one instance where it's happened. I am a huge golf history buff as well and have never heard of it happening. If there was bad weather, my guess is that they would bring the players back at a later date.
