How can I find a way to get my dad scheduled to play at Agusta Golf Course, where the masters are held?

I know it has been one of my dad's dreams to play at Agusta golf course in Georgia, the course where they play the masters so i was wondering what I would have to do to get him scheduled to play there. How can I find a way to get my dad scheduled to play at Agusta Golf Course, where the masters are held?To further explain some of the answers above: Augusta National is probably the most exclusive/elite golf courses in the country, if not the world.

Membership is actually not very expensive compared to other private courses around the country. There are clubs around the country that are a lot more expensive, with not nearly as nice of a course. However, the members there keep to themselves, as it is a very tight-knit group. The ONLY way to become a member is to be invited to join. This likely means that you will have to know somebody that is already a member.

In case you are wondering...you can't even ask to join. If you do, you are automatically denied. There have been some very famous and powerful people that have had this happen to them. They asked if they could join, and they were told no.

Take the advice of some of the others and go to one of the other courses that are public. How can I find a way to get my dad scheduled to play at Agusta Golf Course, where the masters are held?
It's next to impossible....you'd do better to take your dad to the tournament than to attempt to play there. I think I'd rather see Tiger Woods up close @ Augusta than I'd want to hack it around there and shoot a 104 or something ridiculous like that. The answer-er that mentioned Pinehurst has a great idea. You can get onto Pinehurst #2 much easier than Augusta and this course is very famous in its own right. That being said, I'd look into folks who are in Augusta and not affiliated with the golf course. The notion of having to know a member to play is not entirely true. I have a friend whose older brother is a coach at a local college there and he has played at Augusta on several occassions. It's all in who you know and sometime you have to look in odd places. If you want to get your Dad out there, it can be done, you just have to be extra resourceful. Best of luck to you!How can I find a way to get my dad scheduled to play at Agusta Golf Course, where the masters are held?Sorry but that is like asking the owner of Yankee stadium if you can have a neighborhood softball game there. Sure there are exceptions to the rule but you'd be better off trying to get a tee time at tpc sawgrass in Florida . It is a great course in Pontre Vedra beach and will be the site of the players championship in May. It is the largest field of pros in golf-- more than the masters. I think your chances of playing there are good if you have $$$$$
Greg Norman and Donald Trump can not even get a membership. Your dad can attend the practice days prior to the Masters tournament. That is about all you will be able to give him.How can I find a way to get my dad scheduled to play at Agusta Golf Course, where the masters are held?Unfortunately Augusta is a very private club and the odds of playing there is slim to none, unless you know one of the members. There are a lot of people just like your dad who would love to play that golf course. Good luckHow can I find a way to get my dad scheduled to play at Agusta Golf Course, where the masters are held?
Become very good friends with a member (there's only 350).

The club is very private, and does not allow outside play.

Simply put...it's not going to happen. Take your dad to Pinehurst or Pebble Beach.
First, get a billion dollars.

It's very, very difficult to penetrate this organization. I don't think they would even honor a request from Make a Wish. How can I find a way to get my dad scheduled to play at Agusta Golf Course, where the masters are held?
You won't be able to. Try Pebble Beach, Bethpage, Pinehurst.
find someone who knows a member
You either have to join the Augusta National Golf Club or find a member that is willing to allow your dad to be his guest. I am not sure how much membership cost but I know it is not cheap. I am not even sure what the process is like to sign up.
