Why are golf carts not allowed at the masters?

I've noticed that everyone walks, and my mother said they weren't allowed to have golf carts.

Casey had a disorder involving his leg where is was too bad to walk let alone compete but was very good at the game . Golf is a walking game. Carts aren't used at any PGA tour events, nor any tournaments at any level that mean anything.
